Abstract

In Argentina, the legal system of cultural heritage is complex, as it as a federal state, therefore each level of government has approved laws within the demarcation of powers established in article 43 of the Constitution. Under these rules, numerous religious goods have been declared as national or local cultural heritage.
In this paper, we will analyze some conflicts derived from the confluence of legal systems (argentine law and canon law) applicable under the Agreetment of 1966. Also, the conflicts between the spiritual power of Church and the temporal power around cultural goods.
