Abstract

The objetive of this study is to disclose the work of Don José Balmaceda, published in Santiago de Chile in 1875, which is the Manual de Hacendado Chileno, and interesting antecedent or economical history and the agrarian geography of mother country. It is possible to indicate, that the existence of sma book was not known, therefore, it had not been mentioned nor described in any scientific publication until today.
