Abstract

Ihis research wasdeveloped to know and assess the'accomplishment ofthe Geography Program in Chilean High Schools, likewise to identify possible causes that restrain and impede geographic activities in teaching. The results shows that instruction in geographic topics has negative situations affecting Study Plan Finishing and disabling teachers cover a// the programo We suggest incorporate this research in a revision of the cu"ent High School Study Plan and Program in Geography, founding a better performances both in teaching and learning geographic themes.
