As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission complies with all elements shown below. Submissions that do not follow these guidelines will be returned to their authors.

  •  The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration to another publication (or an explanation has been provided about this in the Comments to the editor).
  •  All citations and bibliographic references are prepared and adjusted strictly according to the journal's standards. Whenever possible, URL addresses are provided for references.
  •  The text adheres to stylistic and bibliographical prerequisites summarised in the Author Guidelines appearing in the Submission section.
  •  Aisthesis performs a plagiarism check for all sent articles through the Similarity Check - iThenticate tool.
  •  The submission complies with all the requirements listed in this checklist; those that do not may be automatically rejected prior to the evaluation process.
  •  The authors have not submitted additional manuscripts for this issue and have not published in the journal in the last two years.
  •  The manuscript must be in editable text format (.doc, .docx), 12-point Cambria or Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, and left aligned. It also complies with the allowed length (maximum of 12,000 words for articles and interviews, 2,000 for reviews).
  •  The first page contains the title in at least two languages (Spanish and English) and follows the recommendations suggested by the journal. It also includes an analytical summary of 150 to 200 words, its translation into English (abstract), and contains 3 to 5 keywords, which must also be translated into English (keywords).
  •  The complete Author Data document is attached. It must be downloaded, printed, filled out by the authors and uploaded to the platform in low resolution, in the Upload Submission section. If it is not attached, the article may be rejected after evaluation.
  •  The document Data of evaluator is attached. This must be downloaded, filled out by the authors and uploaded to the platform in the Upload Submission section. If it is not attached, the article may be rejected after evaluation.
  •  The file names must not contain more than 40 characters (no special characters) or weigh more than 2 mb, as this may cause problems when uploading the work to the platform.
  •  Articles submitted to the journal cannot contain more than 5 self-citations to other works of the authors. The contravention of this rule may result in the rejection of the article, after its evaluation.
  •  Tables and figures are numbered, referenced and included in the text, all of them have a title and indicate the source. Tables should be editable in a word processor and should not be in image format. Figures should have a good resolution (300 dpi, in PDF or JPG).
  •  Footnotes are limited to author's comments and clarifications (not used for bibliographic references).
  •  Images must be uploaded in 300 dpi (JPG or PDF) separately.
  •  All fields in the Metadata section were completed in at least two languages (Spanish and English).
